Reiki means ‘Universal life Energy’ and is a safe and non-invasive therapy and helps to restore the balance between Mind, Body and Spirit. The origin of Reiki is ancient but was re-introduced by
Dr Mikao Usui in the late 19th century.
A Reiki Practitioner lays their hands onto the body or just above it and they act as a conduit, allowing the Reiki energy channel through them and allowing it to transfer through to the Client.
Reiki can be experienced in different ways:
- Movement (water flowing or wind blowing within the body)
The Client remains fully clothed during the treatment and the therapy can have a lot of health benefits.
